We need unwanted athletic shoes to support the Perpetual  Prosperity Pumps Foundation, (PPPF) – a Delaware  Not-for-Profit foundation that reuses/recycles used athletic  shoes. Their  mission is to provide all the necessary tools and training to the poorest of  rural farmers in Ghana, West Africa. All of their activities  and programs in West Africa are 100% funded with used American  athletic shoes.

How it Works:

The vast majority of Africans cannot afford new shoes.  PPPF provides used athletic shoes  to street vendors in West Africa. The proceeds provide  tools, training, and  technology to the poorest rural farm families. Instead of spending 100 years in landfills, your used running shoe donation can help regenerate farm land in African villages while creating prosperity with a bottom-up approach — one village at a time. How You Can Help:

Bring in your new or used -  but not  abused – athletic shoes. PPPF needs running shoes (sizes 7  & up) and soccer cleats all sizes. Please tie the laces together.

Help Adopt a Family:

With 600 pairs of donated shoes, PPPF  will adopt an African family on our behalf. The family will receive organic farming training as well as the tools, seeds, trees, and livestock to increase  their productivity 1000% or more.  We will receive a handmade banner of gratitude from West Africa.  The banner will bear the name of our adopted  family and the name of our store.  We will also receive a photograph of our adopted family holding the same banner!
